Brunch: Epic-ly Delicious at Verde / by EpicDevelopments

I love brunch.  I love bottomless mimosa brunches (get on board Pittsburgh). I love dim sum brunches.  I love french pop dj-ed brunches with a burlesque shows. I love them all.  Yeah I understand that I am a stereotype but that changes nothing.  Whats not to love about brunch.  It's an excuse to get all your friends together from the night before, rehash all the nonsense that occur over drinks (I never like seeing the bottom of my mimosa glass), gorge yourself with butter laden dishes all at noon.  Its brilliant.

The new comer to the expanding brunch scene is Verde in Garfield.  Offered on both Saturday and Sunday, Verde is shaking up the game with delicious and inexpensive traditional items with a mexican twist.  It has your standard eggs benedict to more interesting dishes like the brioche french toast stuffed with jalepeno cream cheese with mango maralade and blue cornmeal pancakes with carmalized plantains.  Verde is also doing something no one else in the city is offering, brunch bottle service!  Not tacky over the top, over served nightclub bottle service; but fun six-drink sized bottle service.  And what would be a better way to enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon than someone showing up to your table to top off over mimosa (Cava y Guava) while sitting on their giant patio.  In addition to bottle service, the bar is still making some of the best drinks in town like their salted lime paloma or a juicy brunch punch!

Items not to miss: CHILAQUILES ($7) and HUEVOS BENEDICTOS ($8).  Wash them down with a PALOMA ($8)!  DELICIOUS!
