About Epic

Launched in 2012, Epic Development is a Pittsburgh-based development & design firm focusing on hyper-local partnerships and solution-centric projects. Headed by Michael McAllister, Epic identifies and implements community-based projects that bolster neighborhood economies and bring Pittsburghers from communities across the city together.

Michael McAllister, Principal

A Pittsburgh native, McAllister studied finance/economics at West Virginia University going on to work as an analyst for a corporate pension fund.  With a passion for real estate combined with economic development, McAllister left finance to attend the University of Maryland's Masters of Real Estate Development and pursue a career in economic and real estate development.

Returning to Pittsburgh in 2012, McAllister founded Epic combining his experience in finance and real estate/design to offer a firm stressing design and integrity combined with financial feasibility to help play a role in the revitalization/rejuvenation of Pittsburgh and its 90 unique neighborhoods.  McAllister currently lives and works in Pittsburgh’s Uptown neighborhood.
